WWE Raw video highlights: Bayley turns heel
Bayley turned heel and reunited with Sasha Banks on last night’s episode of Raw.
Bayley & Becky Lynch teamed together against Alexa Bliss & Nikki Cross in the main event of the show. After Banks came out during the match, she caused a disqualification by attacking Lynch. Banks hit Lynch with a steel chair until Bayley took it away from her — but Bayley then smiled and attacked Lynch with the chair herself.
Banks will challenge for Lynch’s Raw Women’s Championship at Clash of Champions on September 15.
Raw’s quarterfinal matches in the King of the Ring tournament also took place last night. Baron Corbin advanced to the semifinals by defeating Cedric Alexander, but the winner of the other quarterfinal wasn’t as clear. Ricochet vs. Samoa Joe ended in a double pin, and it was later announced that it will be Corbin vs. Ricochet vs. Joe in the semifinals next Monday.
Madison Square Garden is hosting next week’s Raw and SmackDown. Raw will feature an appearance by Steve Austin as he moderates a contract signing for Seth Rollins and Braun Strowman’s Universal Championship match at Clash of Champions. The contract signing was originally announced for last night, but Rollins and Strowman were interrupted by AJ Styles, Luke Gallows, and Karl Anderson.
