THE NEW DAY(c) vs. RUSEV DAY
The New Day comes out and talks about fall and how they love the leaves falling and pumpkin spice. They’re quite comical as usual. They say they wrote a song, but instead they are interrupted by the SHAKESPEARE of song, Aiden English. English says that the titles will be going home with him and of course, the Bulgarian Brute.
Kofi starts the match with English, but Kofi gets the quick advantage and English if forced to tag in Rusev. Kofi goes for a springboard crossbody, but hes’ caught by Rusev, who uses his power to deliver a fallaway slam. Rusev locks in a front headlock, slowing down the pace of the ageless one, Kofi Kingston. Kofi tries to break free, but Rusev hits Kingston with powerful rights before putting him on the top turnbuckle. Kofi fights off and hits Rusev with a tornado DDT. Both men are now down and get tags to their respective corners!
Big E starts by hitting Aiden English with a pair of overhead belly to bellys before bouncing off the ropes to hit his humongous splash. He starts to get going, but he’s hit from behind from Rusev, who then tags himself in. Rusev bounces off the ropes and hits Big E with a spinning kick and then another kick to the side of the head. Kofi tries to interfere, but he’s thrown out of the ring for his troubles. Rusev measures Big E for the Matchka Kick, but Big E avoids it, but he’s sent out of the ring by Rusev. English gets some speed and goes up and over, summersaulting onto Big E very impressively.
Back in the ring, Kofi Kingston sneaks a tag, but English doesn’t see it. Kofi tries for Trouble In Paradise, but he’s caught by English. Rusev tags himself in, but Rusev and English are sent to the outside! Big E launches Kofi over the top rope, but he is met with a Matchka Kick! English puts Kofi back in the ring and locks in the Accolade himself on Kofi! Big E tries to interfere, but he’s met with a Matchka kick by Rusev. English is slightly distracted by Rusev asking for a tag, which allows Kofi to slip out and hit English with a Trouble In Paradise to pick up the victory.
