Wrestling Observer Live’s Bryan Alvarez: Strowman Is Working TLC

With TLC just a few days away, rumors ran rampant online that Braun Strowman will not be able to work his important match with RAW General Manager Elect Baron Corbin on Sunday at SAP Center in San Jose. Remember, Corbin becomes the permanent general manager if he wins.
Bryan Alvarez cleared that up today on Wrestling Observer Live. Alvarez said the following in response to someone who wrote an email saying that Strowman is off the show (h/t WrestlingNews.Co transcription):

“Where did that information come from? As far as I know and as of yesterday, Braun is on the show. Braun’s working TLC. I don’t know what he’s gonna be doing. I don’t think he’s going to do a long TLC match. But Braun is going to be on the show and he may win, he may not win. The story is that Kurt Angle is going to be on Raw on Monday and Kurt Angle, of course, was sent home. If Baron Corbin loses then Kurt Angle would be a fine replacement. I know that everybody, including myself, thinks there’s a decent chance that Baron Corbin is actually going to win that match and they’ll have to do a bunch of storylines leading to Braun actually getting a shot against Brock. They have six weeks [until Royal Rumble], they have plenty of time.”
