WATCH: Roman Reigns Resurfaces at Today’s Georgia Tech Cross-State Classic

The “Big Dog” Roman Reigns has resurfaced publicly for the first time since announcing his battle with Leukemia on Monday Night Raw, relinquishing the WWE Universal Championship.

Reigns is standing on the sidelines for his alma mater today, as the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets go to battle once again with their bitter cross-state rivals, the Georgia Bulldogs.

Prior to stepping into his familial legacy as a pro wrestling, Reigns was a three-year starter and a stand-out defensive tackle for the Yellow Jackets, who have welcomed him home with open arms on several occasions.

And speaking of football season, the NFL’s Tennessee Titans sent Reigns well-wishes on Twitter this weekend, with their entire roster posing together in solidarity with the four-time world champion. They’re also apparently sending him a couple of custom “Reigns” and “Anoa’i” jerseys.

Still no update on the Big Dog’s condition at this time, but this holiday weekend it’s just good to see OUR champ looking happy and healthy, with a big smile on his face. Get well soon, Roman!
