Vince Pays Tribute to Malcolm Young

As you may already know, the world lost a music icon today as AC/DC co-founder Malcolm Young passed away after a three-year battle with dementia. Vince McMahon paid tribute to the rock and roll legend on Twitter stating, “Malcolm Young’s guitar and AC/DC’s music provided the soundtrack to some of WWE’s biggest moments.”

Perhaps one of the biggest collaborations was SummerSlam 1998, which featured AC/DC’s “Highway to Hell” as the theme for a double main event, featuring “Stone Cold” Steve Austin vs. The Undertaker for the WWF Championship, and Triple H vs. The Rock in a ladder match for the WWF Intercontinental Championship.
