Viewership Woes Continue For WOS on ITV, Big Gimmick Match On Impact Next Week, ‘Smoke Show’ Debuts (Videos)

Viewership Woes Continue For WOS on ITV

After debuting with a strong audience three weeks ago, the World of Sport ITV show saw another viewership drop for week three of the show, averaging 539,000 viewers, which is down 11% from week two according to The Wrestling Observer Newsletter.

The Observer adds that a game show previously aired in the WOS on ITV timeslot, and that show averaged around 1.5 million viewers per week, so WOS dropping to 539,000 is not a good sign. WOS was likely hoping to finish second for the night in terms of overall viewership, but the show ended up finishing in fifth place. With the numbers continuing to trend downward since the premiere, the feeling is the show will not be renewed for a second season should the numbers continue to drop.
