John Cena appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live on ABC last night to hype his match against Rusev this Sunday at WWE WrestleMania 31.
Cena took on took on a much edgier persona than we’re used to seeing on WWE programming, marketing himself to the audience watching his late night appearance. Cena talked about his days working at a club bouncer in California before signing with WWE, as well as his movie career.
Cena hard sold the patriotic aspect of his challenge against Rusev this Sunday, saying that he’s been eating apple pie, visiting WalMart and watched all of the Rocky movies to prepare for the match.
