In a shocking incident, two youths in an inebriated state in Uttar Pradesh’s Bareilly district cut off a puppy’s ear and another’s tail.

What is more startling that they didn’t stop there; they coated the tail and ear with salt and gulped them down with alcohol. Following this, the two puppies bled profusely and were locked in a room, IANS reported.

Dog house starved dog to death

Earlier this month, a case of cruelty against a dog was reported from Dehradun, where a couple who owned a dog house starved a client’s dog to death. The 21-year-old pet owner Raturi told TOI that she had to travel for work for a few months, so she kept the stray dog she adopted at a creche.

Raturi took the dog to the vet and then it was revealed that the dog was not given food and was ill for several days. Eventually, the dog died during the treatment and Raturi filed a complaint with the police.
