Trump rips into 2020 Dems at rally, calls Biden not ‘mentally prepared’
President Trump skewered the 2020 Democratic presidential hopefuls at a campaign rally in Greenville, North Carolina, on Wednesday night — claiming Joe Biden is not “mentally prepared” for the presidency.
Trump told an energized crowd that Biden’s performance in the first Democratic presidential debate showed the former vice president’s weakness.
“He’s not mentally prepared, that’s his problem. But everyone who knows him knows that,” Trump said on stage.
“But [Kamala] Harris hit him with an easy question on busing — and he choked. And then he said ‘I’m sorry I ran out of time.’ He ran out of time.”

Trump then moved on to Pete Buttigieg, whom he derided as a failed mayor of South Bend, Indiana.
“He’s a beauty,” Trump said. “He runs a failed city.”
The president added that Vice President Mike Pence also hails from Buttigieg’s state of Indiana.
“Mike is one of the nicest human beings you’ll ever meet,” Trump said. “And Mike said he never did a good job. I’m so shocked to see him running.”
