Treatments have Odell Beckham feeling ‘a lot better’

Odell Beckham Jr. made an appearance in the locker room Monday afternoon and moved without any discernible issue. He did not play against the Redskins because of a bruised quad that had been lingering for two weeks and worsened in the days leading up to the game.

“Odell came in and felt a lot better than he did Friday and Saturday and he sort of received some treatments over the weekend so he feels better,’’ Shurmur said. “So we’ll just see where that takes us. It’s too early to tell.’’

Beckham did not offer much of an update on his status. He did give a thumbs-up’ gesture when asked how he was feeling. “Trying to get to two thumbs up,’’ he said.
