St. Cloud State Wrestling Alumni Day set for Jan. 24
The #4 ranked St. Cloud State University wrestling team will hold its annual Alumni Day on Saturday, Jan. 24., which will included the Huskies’ dual match against NCAA DIvision II rival Minnesota State – Mankato. The match is scheduled for 2 p.m. in St. Cloud State’s Halenbeck Hall, while the SCSU Wrestling Alumni Day activities will begin at 11 a.m. that day.
All former Huskies wrestlers will be recognized during intermission of the match. A special recognition will pay tribute to the National Wrestling Hall of Fame and Minnesota Chapter 2015 Hall of Fame inductees – Grant Nelson and Jack Gause.
Before the match, there will be a pre-match social from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. in the Husky Den of Herb Brooks National Hockey Center. After the match, you are invited to Howie’s Sports Bar, 101 9th Ave. North, St. Cloud, from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. for an after match social and good grub. SCSU wrestlers and coaches will be on hand to meet and greet.

1:00 p.m. – 1:45 p.m. – Alumni Check-In – Halenbeck Hall Gym
2:00 p.m. – Dual with Minnesota State – Mankato in Halenbeck Hall
Match Intermission – Alumni Introductions and 2015 Minnesota Chapter Hall of Fame inductees: Grant Nelson & Jack Gause
4:30 p.m. – 6:30 p.m. – Post-Match
