SECAUCUS, NJ — Several homes on First Street were evacuated by police Sunday after someone found a grenade inside a home, said Secaucus Police Chief Dennis Miller.
However, it was not a live grenade and the grenade turned out to be inert.
“A couple of surrounding homes were evacuated as a precaution and were allowed back home within 15 minutes when it was determined there was not a live grenade,” said Miller.
