The aircraft manufacturer is now under investigation by the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, following problems with its 737 Max jetliner, which is still grounded worldwide after two crashes killed 346 people.

The regulator is going to examine whether the Chicago-based company gave enough information to its investors about the plane’s problems, Bloomberg reported.

Boeing has admitted that it knew that a safety alert on the planes wasn’t working correctly, but didn’t disclose that information until after the second crash, in Ethiopia in March.

That wreck followed an October crash in the waters off Indonesia.
