The St. Cloud State University wrestling team volunteered on Saturday, Oct. 5, for the Catholic Charities “Scouting For Food Project.” The Husky Wrestlers spent the day loading and stacking boxes to help the food drive and also to help the less fortunate.
“I was very proud of our young men for lending a helping hand to the Catholic Charities,” said Assistant Coach Shamus O’Grady. “The event is an annual event to help the less fortunate in our community. I was very impressed with our attitude and work ethic.”
The Husky wrestlers begin their official day of practice October 14th at 3:30 PM. Their season opens up with the Black Red Classic Friday November 8th in Halenbeck Hall at 7:00 PM.
