Los Blancos have claimed seven points from their first three games and face a Celta team who have started the campaign in disappointing fashion.

Real Madrid vs Celta Vigo team news

Los Blancos remain without Toni Kroos, with Isco likely to take his place in midfield, while new signing Eduardo Camavinga is available to make his debut after joining on the final day of the transfer window.

The visitors have no major injury concerns heading into the game, although holding midfielder Renato Tapia was away on international duty with Peru and only returned on Friday hampering his preparation for the clash.

Real Madrid vs Celta Vigo preview

One point from their opening three matches was not the start that Celta were expecting, especially having ended the previous campaign as one of the most in-form sides in La Liga.

Not only have Celta failed to win this season they have also really failed to test the opposition goalkeeper.

Eduardo Coudet’s men have managed just two shots on target this term, both of which came in their first match, one of them being a penalty.

Two consecutive games against Osasuna and Athletic Club without a shot on target is a worrying trend and things are likely to get tougher for them this weekend.

Madrid for their part have scored in all three of their matches, a total of eight goals and seven of those strikes have come after the break.

With Celta’s only goal of the season coming in the second half as well there could be some interest in backing the game to explode into life the second 45 minutes.

Real Madrid vs Celta Vigo tips & predictions

The second half is offered at 20/21 (1.98) to be the highest scoring half and looks like an interesting selection for the game.
