TINLEY PARK, IL — Nearly a year after a film crew from a national TV and movie network rolled into Tinley Park, a show featuring the town’s own Great Chicago Light Fight winner is set to premiere.
Starring Hallmark Channel’s Wes Brown, “Ready, Set, Glow” is a three-episode, holiday lights showcase spectacular that takes viewers to some of the most impressive and festive displays around the country—featuring Tinley’s own Chris, Jorilyn, Kyle and Joshua Hirsch.
The show—with all episodes set to stream Dec. 12 on Hallmark+ — also highlights how those featured give back to the community, so don’t be surprised to see a bunch of pups in the footage of 7805 Nottingham Drive. As part of its display, the family encouraged donations for animal rescue Tinley Park PAWS, ultimately raising $10,000 for the nonprofit agency. Dogs from the shelter made appearances after the filming, some even snuggling up with the star, himself.

The 150,000-light display was a true family effort last year, with teenaged sons Joshua and Kyle stepping up to help while Chris recovered from an arm surgery.
“It’s so rewarding to see the joy our light display brings to our visitors, it’s so exciting to be able to share our love of Christmas with the world and be showcased on Hallmark+,” Jorilyn Hirsch said.

“It is especially exciting as parents to see our boys work so hard and put their hearts into our display.”
Streaming service Hallmark+ launched this fall and is currently offering a free, 30-day trial for anyone interested, said Glass Entertainment Group VP Matt Carter.
