PROGRESS Wrestling Announces WWE UK Title Match, Joseph Conners Comments, Matt Sydal & Matt Riddle Fill Spots

PROGRESS Wrestling has announced that Pete Dunne will be defending his WWE UK Championship at the upcoming show, Chapter 62.

Dunne will defend the gold against fellow WWE UK star, Joseph Conners in a match that was originally supposed to take place last year in Sheffield until Dunne was unable to attend the show.

Speaking of the WWE UK Championship match, Conners himself has commented on the bout, with a tongue in cheek tweet, claiming he is expecting a warm response from the fans.

Matt Sydal and Matt Riddle Fill Tournament Spots

Independent stars, Matt Sydal (f.k.a Evan Bourne) and Matt Riddle have been announced as competitors in wXw’s prestigious 16 Carat Gold tournament.
Both men are last minute additions and actually replacements for Rey Feniz and Penta El Zero M, who have both withdrawn due to conflicts with Lucha Underground tapings.
