Peter McNamara discloses plan for Alex De Minaur to beat Rafael Nadal

In an interview to the French Open website the former world No. 7 singles player Peter McNamara commented on the upcoming third round match between Rafael Nadal and Alex De Minaur at the Australian Open. McNamara feels confident about De Minaurs potential and chances, and he said: Hes got to believe in himself.

Theres going to be some long rallies, let me tell you, lot of running. Lot of counter-punching, and hes got to serve well, get a couple of free points. McNamara also praised De Minaurs game and mentality: Hes changing the mould, thats what I like.

Respectful, works hard, back to the old tradition of what I learnt, which was, you work hard, you get the results. Some of the other guys find that a little bit difficult, which I understand. But (put in the) hard work and the results come.

Hes the living proof and the other guys should take a leaf out of his book. Hes a great example to the next generation of Australians.
