BIRMINGHAM, MI — The latest concept from Bloomfield Hills-based Cicero Hospitality Group has opened in downtown Birmingham.
Bell Bistro is now open at 185 N. Old Woodward Ave. in the former Mad Hatter space in downtown Birmingham.
The restaurant’s menu offers dishes for all tastes, including a Wagyu Meatball starter, Rigatoni Alla Gricia, Langos, Steak Frites, Bell Smash Burger and much more.

The 3,000 square foot restaurant, which was designed by Ann Arbor-based Bowers + Associates, seats up to 36 in the main dining room, an additional 30 seats in the lower level and up to 30 private seats.
Bell Bistro’s head chef is Gabriel Botezan, who is a Le Cordon Bleu-certified chef and has been a prominent figure in the metro Detroit dining scene for years. Botezan also cooks at Adelina in downtown Detroit and continues to work alongside chef Marco Dalla Fontana.

Adelina’s pastry chef (and wife of Chef Botezan), Gabriela Botezan will oversee Bell Bistro’s dessert menu, which features Papanași, Parliament Walnut Cake, Olive Oil Cake Bar and a Raspberry Chocolate Tart.
Bell Bistro will also feature a bar that includes a curated selection of craft cocktails, mocktails, local beers and fine wines. Some of the cocktails include the Bellerina, The Belfry, Verdita and the Mulled Over.

The restaurant will be open Tuesday – Thursday: 4 – 10 p.m., Friday and Saturday: 4 p.m. – 11 p.m.; bar open until midnight and Sunday: 4 – 10 p.m.
