Healy Park has survived adverse weather conditions this time around to play host to Tyrone and Monaghans’s Division 1 clash this evening, following last week’s controversial postponement at the same venue.
Last Sunday saw Mickey Harte’s side’s encounter with Cavan called off just an hour before throw in, despite the fact that the pitch was evidently unplayable from the early hours of the day.
The fixture has since been rescheduled for next Sunday.

Meanwhile, Breffni Park has also been given the all clear as tonight’s second All-Ulster tie sees Cavan welcome Donegal.

Limerick’s Division 1B hurling clash against Offaly at the Gaelic Grounds has also been given the green light, following a morning pitch inspection. The Shannonsider’s Division 4 football encounter against London has been moved to UL, with throw-in moved to an earlier time of 6.30pm.
Weather conditions in recent days had threatened to cause havoc with this weekend’s fixtures. Tipperary and Longford’s clash tomorrow has already been called off.
Tomorrow’s Division 3B hurling match between Sligo and Fermanagh has changed venue to the 4G pitch at the Bawnacre Centre in Irvinestown, Fermanagh.
The AFL Div 3 match – @sligogaa v @CLGLaois – is going ahead tomorrow as scheduled, but there will be a pitch inspection in the morning.

Several more pitch inspections are expected tomorrow morning ahead of a full day of league fixtures, both football and hurling.
Note: The original article wrongly stated that Tyrone face Donegal, when of course it was a typo and they host Monaghan.
