NJ man and family’s nanny found stabbed to death

A nanny and a member of the family that hired her were murdered in the upscale town of Maplewood, NJ, early Saturday, police said.

The victims’ names have not been released.

Police got a call at about 6 a.m. from a jogger reporting a woman being attacked on the front lawn of a Walton Road home. Cops found the bloodied woman lying in the street.

A witness told WABC/Channel 7 she appeared to have suffered knife wounds to the head and body. Soon afterward, police found the body of a man in a nearby home.

Neighbors said a family with children moved in about 18 months ago, but were not home when the killer struck.

Neighbors said they saw the nanny’s boyfriend in the area.
