Nicola Kuhn joins Novak Djokovic and Alexander Zverev in Head tennis family

In March last year, Nicola became the first player of his generation with Masters 1000 win when he defeated Darian King in Miami but his progress was halted three weeks later when he suffered a nasty foot injury (broken toe) at Barletta Challenger that forced him to retire and miss a chance to make the main draw debut in Barcelona and Madrid where he previously received wild cards.

Working on his comeback, Nicola returned two months later and he had to start all over again, barely staying inside the top-400 and seeking his form on the Challenger Tour. The youngster struggled to regain the momentum and confidence, suffering many losses before reaching the final in Canberra that boosted his ranking and allowed him to finish inside the top-250.

After a much-needed rest, Kuhn started to work on his off-season (he trained with Marco Cecchinato and Roberto Bautista Agut) and he is ready to chase the place in the top-100 in 2019 if he stays healthy, already proving his skills on every surface before that injury.

Nicola said he is thrilled to become a part of this big tennis family and he cant wait to compete again and seek his dreams after a rough year he had left behind him.
