Mumbai Man Held For Forging Documents Of His Dead Mother To Get Her Property Worth Rs 285 Crore

Kamlesh Rani had passed away on March 7, 2011, but on paper she was alive and even transferred her properties worth Rs 285 crore to her elder son Sunil Gupta.

The properties include a candle manufacturing factory in Mumbai which has an office in Noida also.

This came to light after Sunil’s younger brother Vijay Gupta approached the Noida Police alleging that his brother and family have pocketed the property using forged documents.

Based on Vijay’s complaint the Noida Police arrested Sunil, his wife Radha, their son Abhishek were arrested.
