Johnny Gargano No Longer Appearing At EVOLVE Events In New York, Issues Apology

EVOLVE Wrestling’s head booker Gabe Sapolsky announced on Twitter that NXT superstar Johnny Gargano will no longer be appearing at this weekend’s events in New York. Gargano was set for a meet-and-greet along with Tommaso Ciampa and current NXT champion Adam Cole. Sapolsky writes, “Johnny Gargano will be unable to make the EVOLVE events this weekend. We apologize for the lineup change. Thank you for understanding.”

Gargano would take to Twitter himself and issue the following apology for missing the event:

I’m sorry to everyone that bought tickets to meet me this weekend. It truly breaks my heart not to be able to make it but I’m fortunate I have people willing to put my health first in this crappy situation. Please check out these @WWNEVOLVE shows and support the guys.
