ATLANTA, GA — Only a day after brain surgery and 95-year-old former President Jimmy Carter could be seen “up and walking,” according to his pastor, reports WJLA. Rev. Tony Lowden of Maranatha Baptist Church visited Carter at Emory University Hospital on Wednesday.
According to WJLA, Lowden told reporters, “His spirits are good and he is up and walking.”
Carter teaches Sunday School at Maranatha Baptist, where he has for decades, said Lowden, who expects that Carter will soon be asking when can he return.
