Uncertain what future holds for Andy Murray, Jamie Murray recently spoke about Andys possible return, saying that whatever Andy choses to do, he will back it. I just hope that, whatever happens, he can get back to just regular life, pain-free, and be able to enjoy himself and not be in constant pain, said Jamie.
If hes able to come back and play tennis, if thats what he wants to do, then Im sure hell give it everything he can. But I think for me its just important that he gets back to regular life and is able to do what he wants to do.
Andy Murray will take a decision next week regarding another surgery with chances of a comeback further diminishing. Jamie assessed, Other athletes have done that surgery and come back to do their sport. I dont know how successfully or at what level theyre playing at.
Bob Bryans had the surgery that Andys got and hes back playing now, but obviously its a lot easier to do that in doubles rather than singles. He added: Jamie then spoke about the support Andy got during one of the toughest times of his career. The support that he got from start to finish was incredible, Jamie said.
If it is his last Australian Open then thats a great way for him to finish and Im sure hell be more than happy with that. Hes had an incredible career with a lot of remarkable moments on the tennis court, the things hes been able to achieve, the performances that hes been able to come up with and the titles and everything that hes won.
Im sure hell go down as a legend in this sport.
