Husband Attacks Man At Darien Bar: Cops
DARIEN, IL – A 46-year-old Woodridge man saw another man with his wife earlier this month at a Darien bar and punched him in the back of his head, police said.
The incident occurred shortly after midnight Nov. 2 at Q Bar, 8109 Cass Ave., police said.

The 43-year-old victim said he was at the bar with the suspect’s wife when he was struck from behind, the report said. The 43-year-old said he knew of the suspect, but had not met him.
The suspect’s wife was said to be seeking a divorce at the time of the attack.

The victim told officers he defended himself and that a fight ensued. He lost his Movado watch during the incident, police said.
The woman said her back was turned and that she did not see what happened at first, but witnessed the men fighting, the report said.
She told police that her husband had taken her white Tesla and that it was pinging at Iroquois Lane and Adams Street in Darien, according to the report.
Officers found the Tesla unoccupied.
The woman also told police that the doorbell camera at her Woodridge house indicated her husband was throwing her belongings out of the house.
Her husband was arrested and charged with battery. Police said the man invoked his rights and declined to be interviewed.
He was released.
