In a press conference at the Australian Open on Friday commented on retirement from tennis this year. Its sad because he would be leaving not on his own terms just because this is what lifes thrown at him and he has no choice. Thats quite annoying but Im just grateful that Ive been able to get to know him, share the court with him in the Hopman Cup a couple of times and at the Olympics.

On Murray, Johanna Konta said: He literally left no stone unturned he became, I feel like he really maximised everything that he has and left no stone unturned to bring the best out of himself and not many athletes and people can say that they did that in their career and profession, they maximised and gave everything they had and thats something as an athlete to look up to it makes me quite emotional because thats a beautiful thing.
