Finalists Chosen In Enfield Police Department's Holiday Lights Contest
ENFIELD, CT — Eight finalists have seen selected by Enfield’s finest as having the best holiday decorations this season, whittled down from the initial list of 23 entries.
Members of the police department visited all 23 homes in recent days, narrowing the candidates down to the final eight.
“Every house was excellent, but these are the homes we will be visiting [Wednesday] for final judging,” police wrote on social media.

The elite eight (in reverse alphabetical order) are 25 Stardust Dr., 6 Misty Meadow Rd., 33 Foxcroft Rd., 4 David St., 7 Colonial Dr., 18 Beech Rd., 14 Aloha Dr. and 32 Alden Ave.
Judges toured the finalist houses Wednesday night, then began their deliberations. The winner will be announced Christmas morning via their social media pages.

Chief Alaric Fox told Patch, “Our department continues to be so impressed with the Christmas spirit of this community. The hardest part of last night’s site visits was the quality of all of the displays!”
Fox gave Patch written permission to publish the department’s photos of each finalist display. Each contains two views – an aerial and a ground level – and are shown below.
