Every successful Money in the Bank cash-in – Part 1/3

On the eve of the Super ShowDown show in Jeddah where Brock Lesnar has vowed to cash-in his MiTB contract on Seth Rollins, we have a look back at all the cash-ins over the years.

The first seven matches: (color indicates a brand-specific contract Raw / SmackDown)

Won contract: Wrestlemania 21 def. Chris Benoit, Chris Jericho, Shelton Benjamin, Kane and Christian
Special Notes:

Defended the contract against Matt Hardy on RAW Oct 3, 2005, in a ladder match
The 2005 draft saw Batista (World Heavyweight Champion) go to SmackDown and John Cena (WWE Champion) come to RAW and therefore Edge was to cash-in on Cena.

This was Edge’s first ever World Championship and this was what gave him the nickname “The Ultimate Opportunist”
