Dragons Set for Super Region 3 Tournament

MOORHEAD, Minn. – The Minnesota State University Moorhead wrestling team will compete this weekend at the Super Region 3 Tournament hosted by St. Cloud State. Competition will begin at 10 a.m. Friday and 11 a.m. on Saturday.

Live results and video will be available on TrackWrestling. The top four finishers at each weight will advance to the national tournament.

Last Time Out
The Dragons finished the regular season on a three-match winning streak. Their most recent win came on Feb. 15 when they defeated the Minot State Beavers 27-10. In that dual, the Dragons won seven matches, including pins from junior Adam Blees (174) and sophomore Preston Lehmann (197).

Team Leaders
Blees is the team leader with a 16-8 record at 174, while freshman Cole Jones is 17-11 on the season at 125. Junior Zach Scott has a 14-13 record at 141, with a team-leading six pins. Jordan Magnuson is 13-10 on the season at 285 pounds.
