Police are investigating two shootings in a Long Island village in which a person was injured and a car was found riddled with bullet holes.
The two Amityville shootings — one Oldfield Avenue and Orchard Place and another at 45 Merrick Road — were reporting just before 2 p.m. Tuesday and were believed to be connected, according to the Amityville Police Department.
At the first location, police received reports of shots fired and found a car with multiple bullet holes at the scene 1:42 p.m.
At the second, someone fired a shot into a cellphone store, police said.
Cops said a person was wounded in one of the shootings — but wouldn’t say which shooting or what the victim’s condition was.

Police also wouldn’t say what linked the two incidents.
Local schools were locked down until police determined “there was no imminent threat to the community,” cops added.
