College Recruiting: state runner-up Bjerga to St. Cloud State

Owen Bjerga of Staples-Motley has committed to wrestling for St. Cloud State following his upcoming senior season.

Bjerga is a two-time state placewinner and four-time state qualifier. He was the Class A 160-pound runner-up this season as a junior. He placed sixth at 138 pounds as a sophomore. Bjerga was a state entrant at 126 pounds as a freshman and at 113 pounds as an eight-grader.

Bjerga is projected to wrestle at 174 pounds for the Huskies.
