Coach reveals keys behind Roberto Bautista Agut's win over Novak Djokovic
In an interview to Punto de Break, s coach commented on the Spanish players success at the Qatar Open defeating Novak Djokovic and Tomas Berdych back to back in three sets.
On the win against the Serb, Vendrell said: Its one of the matches that attract fans, I lived it on court and I felt that the level he played at over three hours was big. You had everything, a lot of emotion, but especially two brilliant players.
Rober and Novak delighted the people with an amazing tennis. We had set the goal of not opening the court too much, keeping it close so that he would not hurt us with his angles. Rober felt comfortable with the rhythm, he did not feel that Novak was going over him and he put himself in an ideal situation to win.
