Celebrate Christmas Aboard Jingle Belle Cruises On Mission Bay
SAN DIEGO, CA — A very festive sternwheeler boat is cruising on Mission Bay ahead of Christmas.
The Jingle Belle Cruise, featuring a Grinch and Whoville theme, takes place on the 100-foot-long William D. Evans sternwheeler.
“Now in its third year, the Jingle Belle Cruise has become a cherished San Diego holiday tradition full of fun activities for the entire family,” said Robert Arends, media relations manager for Evans Hotels, which owns Bahia Resort Hotel and Catamaran Resort Hotel and Spa on Mission Bay and The Lodge at Torrey Pines in La Jolla. “All three levels of the boat will be decked out in holiday cheer.”

The family-friendly cruise features Whoville-inspired decor, a welcome hot cider, complimentary candy bags for children, face painting, balloons, festive crafts, carolers, photos with Santa, and tasty holiday treats and libations.
Jingle Belle Cruises depart through Christmas Eve from the Bahia and Catamaran resorts. Reservations are required.

Tickets cost $45 per person, with a portion of the proceeds benefitting Mama’s Kitchen, a San Diego nonprofit that provides medically tailored meals to individuals and families vulnerable to malnutrition due to critical illnesses.
“We’re excited to be partnering again with Mama’s Kitchen, a charitable cause near and dear to our hearts which will receive a portion of the proceeds from ticket sales,” Arends told Patch.
