Bully Ray Issues Statement On Incident With Fan Backstage At ROH Portland Show

As noted, Bully Ray was reportedly involved in a backstage incident with a fan at the ROH: State of the Art event in Portland, Oregon on Sunday evening.

According to the fan, Ray had him led to an isolated room backstage by security, where he was kept until he finished his match. Ray then allegedly got in the fans face in intimidating fashion and scolded him like a child for a heated verbal exchange the fan had just finished having with Bully Ray’s girlfriend, Velvet Sky.

After the news went public, ROH General Manager Greg Gilleland issued a statement on the Bully Ray/fan incident, noting the company has started an investigation into the matter, and that disciplinary actions may come as a result.

In an update, Bully Ray has broken his silence on the subject.

The WWE Hall Of Famer took to social media on Monday evening, posting a statement of his own about the alleged incident. Check out Bully Ray’s comments about the situation in the statement he released in the following tweet from his official Twitter page.
