Tennis – and eldest son appeared on a German television show togther for the first time on Friday night. The six-time Grand Slam champion his son came on the ARD show Who knows what? with Boris teaming up with Bernhard Hocker while son Noah teamed up with TV presenter Elton, according to T Online.
Before the game show started, father and son said that they like to compete in different categories, except in tennis. And both men agreed that they did not like to lose. Becker and Hocker ended up defeating the team of Noah/ Elton.
The junior Becker let 47-year-old Elton do most of the talking on the show while Boris seemed to provide a lot of humour as he went about the show. Becker also showed he had a sense of humour – when he opted for the field of knowledge, he joked, Im not at home in the kitchen, or in the garden – but Im familiar with headlines.
Becker was most recently in the news when reports of him being appointed as advisor to Simona Halep emerged but the German said he had not been approached or appointed for the role. Halep had split with her coach Darren Cahill at the end of last season as the Australian wanted to spend some time with his family this year.
Becker has also been in the news last year for his financial difficulties and his personal life.
