Blake Lively Used to Send the Oddest Photos to Leonardo DiCaprio When They Were Dating

First of all, we totally forgot that Blake Lively and Leonardo DiCaprio dated. Six years ago the two were totally coupled up, and not shy about it either.

The year was 2011, Lively was with DiCaprio, Gossip Girl was shooting its final season, and Lively was sending photos of dolls to DiCaprio.

The cast and producers recently sat down with Vanity Fair for a feature on the 10 years since Gossip Girl graced our airwaves. Besides cool insider info on the Gossip Girl: Psycho Killer book that was never explored, why Lively didn’t think the show was art, and what Lively and Leighton Meester were like off-camera…we also learned this totally random anecdote about Lively and DiCaprio.

Gossip Girl executive producer Joshua Safran told the mag about the time that the show relocated to Los Angeles to accommodate Lively’s film career:

Let’s back up all the way. What kind of doll? Where are these photos? Why a doll? Why not photos of Lively herself? What were these photos of? Does DiCaprio have a thing for dolls? Does Lively have a thing for dolls? Is this romance? Should we be sending doll photos to our significant other?!?!?!?
