Backstage News on Current Plans for ‘The Fiend’ at WWE Hell in a Cell

Earlier this week it was reported that local advertisements were promoting a huge Universal Championship Hell in a Cell match between Seth Rollins and Bray Wyatt’s “Fiend” persona for the October WWE Hell in a Cell pay-per-view.

According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, this isn’t necessarily a case of your usual local advertisements that are just sent out as placeholders, that may or not be accurate. The report indicates that “this is not the case here”, and that right now Rollins vs. Wyatt is actually the current internal plan for Hell in a Cell.

WWE Universal Champion Seth Rollins is set to defend the title against Braun Strowman at Clash of Champions on September 15, and will also be defending their RAW Tag Team Championships at the event.
