Asuka Set to Compete in Her First Ever Match on Smackdown Live Next Week

WWE has officially announced that Asuka will team with Becky Lynch to take on The IIconics, Peyton Royce and Billie Kay on next week’s episode of Smackdown Live. It will be the first time ever that the formerly undefeated “Empress” competes for the blue brand.

Asuka was traded to the Smackdown brand this past week as a part of the massive Superstar Shakeup, and came to the aid of Becky and WrestleMania rival Charlotte Flair, saving the long-time friends from an assualt at the hands of The Iiconics and new Smackdown Women’s Champion Carmella.
