Amy Schumer Just Bought Back the Farm Her Family Lost Years Ago  

Amy Schumer is racking up major points in the daughter department this holiday season.

The Trainwreck star surprised her dad, Gordon Schumer, with the ultimate Christmas gift, telling him with a big smile via FaceTime that she bought back the family farm they lost to bankruptcy years ago.

“Today I bought my father’s farm back,” she captioned a screenshot of their convo on Instagram. Schumer went on to share a clip of herself as a child running through the field on the property, writing alongside it, “Video from the farm when I was running away in the cornfield and my dad was taunting me because I wanted him to come with me.”

“We lost the farm when we lost everything else,” she added. “But, today I got to buy it back for him.”

When Schumer was 12 years old, her father was diagnosed with MS and his company went bankrupt, according to People. Forced to downsize, they had to give up the farm as a result.
