How Was This Week’s WWE Raw Viewership Up Against the National Championship Game?
This week’s edition of WWE Raw featured a main event of Seth Rollins, Jason Jordan and Roman Reigns against The Balor Club, in addition to a WWE Cruiserweight Title match featuring Enzo Amore defending against Cedric Alexander. The show also featured the advertised return of The Miz, along with WWE Universal Champion Brock Lesnar.
According to ShowBuzz Daily, this week’s WWE Raw averaged 2.766 million viewers, which is down from the previous week’s 2.865 million viewership average. Once again, Raw continues to see a sizable drop in viewers from the first hour to the final hour, a trend which has been ongoing for many weeks now.

-The first hour averaged 2.993 million viewers
-The second hour averaged 2.784 million viewers
-The final hour averaged 2.502 million viewers.
For the past several weeks, WWE Raw has had the luxury of not going up against Monday Night Football, however the show last night went up against the College Football National Championship game, which dominated cable TV viewership with over 60 million viewers in total for ESPN. This week’s Raw ranked #4 for the night in cable TV viewership.
