It was the Saints that got robbed Sunday, but by Monday, it’s Rams running back Todd Gurley who is still duping a few stragglers.
Mike Francesa fell victim to Gurley’s Photoshopped Instagram of him exchanging jerseys with head referee Bill Vinovich after the Rams pulled off a 26-23 overtime win against the Saints in Sunday’s NFC Championship.

Todd Gurley had some apparent Photoshop fun on Sunday in…
“You should never have another jersey, whether you exchange them with players before the game — which should be an outrageous thing to begin with,” Francesa said. “No way should an official be exchanging jerseys with a player before a game. That sets such a bad — that’s such a bad thing to do, number one. Number two, they have to stay distant from the players.”
After he got back from a commercial break, during which he was informed Gurley’s Instagram post was not real, Francesa tried to save face.
“That was posted by Gurley, I guess, but it was not real, thank God,” Francesa said. “At least that wasn’t true, so they didn’t exchange jerseys, which I’m thankful for that.”
Still, Gurley’s post was not a great look for the NFL after its officials failed to call an obvious pass interference against Rams cornerback Nickell Robey-Coleman in the final minutes of regulation, which allowed Los Angeles to come back and win.
