News On Brock Lesnar and Paul Heyman Swerving Fans Prior To WrestleMania, Did WWE Have Other Plans For Heyman?
More news on Brock Lesnar and Paul Heyman swerving the WWE Universe prior to WrestleMania 34 have emerged, as well as what WWE had planned for Paul Heyman.
As we noted earlier in the week, Paul Heyman knew prior to the go-home edition of WWE Raw that Brock had re-signed with WWE, which is why he put in the line about them not returning if Lesnar lost the main event at WrestleMania.
He continued pulling that same story during his media rounds in New Orleans last week, where he claimed their contracts were finished after WrestleMania, even though Lesnar had already re-signed with the company. Bryan Alvarez added on a recent edition of Wrestling Observer Live that WWE has been attempting to work the internet fans more in recent months, in order to throw them off match plans and finishes.

Additionally, WWE was working on other plans for Paul Heyman if Lesnar chose to leave and go to UFC instead of staying with the company, reports The Wrestling Observer Newsletter. However, because Lesnar only negotiates with Vince McMahon himself, it is in his contract that Heyman has to work with him and once he decided to stay, any other plans for Heyman were shelved.
Brock Lesnar will be back in action at the Greatest Royal Rumble event where he defends the Universal Title inside a steel cage against Roman Reigns.
