Kurt Angle Officially Announces Multiple Co-Branded Ladder Matches For WWE Money in the Bank

WWE RAW General Manager has cleared up a bit of confusion surrounding this year’s Money in the Bank pay-per-view, set to take place at the Allstate Arena in Chicago, IL on June 17th. Despite the return of co-branded events there will NOT be four individual ladder matches at next month’s show.

This year we will once again see two Money in the Bank ladder matches, one for the men and one for the women. Each bout will feature eight superstars, with four representing the RAW brand and four from Smackdown Live. It’s assumed, although not explicitly stated, that whoever wins will be given a briefcase for their respective show’s main title.

As noted, there are two big triple threat qualifiers scheduled for WWE RAW so we’ll have an update soon on the first superstars who will compete in this year’s ladder matches.
