Look: WWE Hall Of Fame Setup Receives Major Redesign

Images have surfaced on social media from those already in the building for tonight’s WWE Hall Of Fame ceremony, showing a major change in the stage setup.

Unlike previous years where the recipient would come onto the stage to receive their award and give a speech, this year WWE has built a wrestling ring up in the middle, where it would traditionally be for a Raw or SmackDown, and the Hall Of Fame inductees will give their speeches from that point.

WWE has added the usual podium to the ring and placed a black mat down with the ropes all in gold, so it seems like the inductees will come down the ramp, as if they are making their WWE ring entrances, before giving their speech.

It had been speculated that the company was looking to make major changes to the show this year and this is clearly one of them. Not only does this provide a fresh look to the ceremony, but it also makes the setup for WWE Raw easier on Monday, as the ring is already constructed.

The Hall Of Fame is expected to have much shorter speeches this year, and Corey Graves and Renee Young will be hosting, instead of Jerry Lawler.

Quite the different set-up at Barclays for #WWEHOF tonight. Ceremony taking place in the ring! Looks very cool. (And makes for a much easier re-set for RAW Monday!) #WrestleMania pic.twitter.com/icbIDxj4di
