The Wildcat returns for his 22nd season in The Post. Including the 1997-2017 seasons in the Bettor’s Guide, Cat’s record in prints stands at 595-498 (54.4 percent) against the spread.
Jets (+13 ½) over PATRIOTS: The rambunctious Jets continue to rack up points, as Sam Darnold is likely evolving into the best USC pro-QB product of modern times (Carson Palmer, move over). Patriots remain on their toes, as they secure the No. 2 seed in the AFC, while Bill Belichick sustains his mastery over this foe. J-E-T-S stay close enough, for one unit.
BILLS (-4) over Dolphins: Projected weather conditions feature double-digit wind velocities and air temps just above freezing. Thus, duck these Dolphins, away from home — where they’ve come up empty all season, excepting their September trip which featured them taking down the Jets. Ryan Tannehill doesn’t appear “right.” Bills stampede, for one unit.
REDSKINS (+6½) over Eagles: Washington doesn’t display a great history of tucking under fat ’dog numbers when not favored at home — but revitalized Philly (which needs a win and a Vikings loss to make January) is an expensive lay here. Any dramatic come-from-behind Nick Foles heroics are unlikely to cover this chunky spread. ’Skins play spoiler, for one unit.
