BAYLEY EXPLAINS HER ACTIONS
We kick things off tonight with the SmackDown Women’s Champion, Bayley who seems to be in a very good mood with the Bayley Buddies being on full display. Bayley gets a great reaction from the fans and she says she doesn’t get it.
Bayley says everyone has something to say about what went down last night, and she questions what people didn’t see coming. Bayley says Sasha Banks has always had her back through every struggle and triumph, and nothing had changed that she is her best friend, and she is still trying to prove what sort of a champion she can be.
Bayley says people should think about the hugs, she claims she tries to make the fans feel the way she did when she was a kid. Bayley says she is now showing the kids what it means to be loyal, which is why she couldn’t turn her back on Sasha Banks.
Bayley wants to have the SmackDown Women’s Title have the same recognition as Becky’s, and she will start that at Clash Of Champions when she beats Charlotte Flair… which leads to the Queen making her way down to the ring.
Charlotte says Bayley can say whatever she wants about her, but what you see is what you get, there is no confusion, there is no blindsiding, and no hugging. Flair then tells Bayley to hug that title real tight, but before she can continue, Sasha Banks makes her way out.
But before Banks can get involved, the Queen takes out Bayley and then starts brawling with the Boss until Bayley gets back into the ring with a steel chair, taking down Charlotte Flair. Bayley then hands the chair to Banks as she then starts swinging on Flair as the two friends then walk out, having made their point very clear.
KING OF THE RING QUARTERFINALS
ALI vs ELIAS
Click Here: Alfa Romeo Racing Suit
Elias starts out getting control by working a wristlock, but Ali smartly uses his agility to get out of it and lights up Elias’ chest with a chop and he then catches him with a spinning kick that sends Elias to the outside. However, as Ali attempts to drive through the ropes to Elias, he is caught and sent into the ring apron with Elias then throwing Ali into the metal ramp.
Elias then continues his attack on the outside of the ring, launching him into the barricade and the floor before picking him up and throwing him into the timekeeper’s area. However, as we return from commercial the former 205 Live Superstar is managing to fightback, catching Elias with a big kick and then a rolling X-Factor.
Once again Elias rolls to the outside, but Ali follows him, diving through the ropes and catching Elias from behind. As the two men then try to get back into the ring they meet each other on the top rope, with Ali fighting his opponent down and hitting a massive 450 to the arm of Elias.
Ali then smartly wrestles Elias to the ground and locks in the crossface, but he manages to get to the bottom rope to break the submission. Elias then fights his way back and hits a huge sitout powerbomb and he then locks in the stretch muffler, working on the knee of Ali.
Elias continues working on the knee as he wraps it around the LED post. The two men then get to the top rope and as Ali falls and plants on his injured leg, he is able to catch Elias’ offensive attempt with a huge superkick to the face.
Ali then looks to close the deal, but there is nobody home for the 450 and Elias hits a knee drop to the back of Ali’s injured leg as he hits Drift Away to progress.
