Sasha Banks Reportedly Extended Her WWE Contract Upon Recent Return

While it is unclear exactly how long she has remaining on her contract, Sasha Banks did reportedly extend her deal with WWE upon returning to the company in August, according to Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful.com.

Banks was off television for more than four months, disappearing after losing the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championships with Bayley at WrestleMania. She returned the night after SummerSlam, attacking Raw Women’s Champion Becky Lynch. The two are scheduled to face off next Sunday inside Hell in a Cell.

In her recent WWE Network documentary, she opened up about needing to take time away from wrestling to find herself again, as she had spent so long being “Sasha Banks” the character and needed to reconnect with Mercedes, the person behind the gimmick.
