It would appear that WWE has parted ways with SmackDown Superstar Tyler Reks as he is now listed on the company’s website Alumni section. As WWE infrequently announces talent departures, this is often seen as a sign that a talent has been parted ways with the sports-entertainment organization.
Reks had recently tried out a new gimmick. Two weeks ago on SmackDown, he and tag team partner Curt Hawkins talked to General Manager Booker T about landing a spot on the program. After being told to “step it up,” the duo emerged in suits before their tag team match against two local athletes and proceeded to dance for the WWE Universe, “stripping off their suits in electrifyingly seductive fashion.” Reks and Hawkins utilized a double powerslam for the pinfall victory.
Reks, who made his professional wrestling debut in February 2007, had been under contract to WWE since January 2008.
